Heat link No Power, Error H71 on thermostat

My heat link has stopped suddenly today, no lights at all. I have tried power on and off and pressing the button for 20sec as pr the suggestion. Despite this no lights have turned on.

Here is some more info.

How long has your thermostat been installed for?  --> 2 yrs +
Did the issue happen during the installation? --> No
Is there any error on the Nest thermostat display? --> H71
Have you had any power cuts recently? --> No
Have you had any work done on your electrical or heating systems recently?  --> No
If yes, was the power properly restored at the fuse board after work was done? --> N/A
How many zones are present in the setup? --> Two. One for downstairs and one for Upsatair with water heatingas well, which is what is not working now.

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that your Heat Link has stopped working because it does not show any LED light and it powers on and off. I also appreciate the information you shared and the troubleshooting you did. I'm happy to help you!

To provide the best possible assistance, I'd like to ask a few questions below: 

In the meantime, please ensure the following: 

  • Restart the Heat Link

    • Hold down the Heat Link’s button until its light turns off. It should take about ten seconds.
    • Release the button and wait for your Heat Link to restart.
    • The status light will turn green if it re-connects to your thermostat. If the status light is yellow, continue to step 2.
