Hi, my google nest has lost connection with my heat link but I cannot perform a reset because the button on my heat link won’t physically depress. I have two zones in my house and hence two heat links so I can tell that one is broken. What do I do please? Bought a 3rd generation in march 2023.

For a Heat Link button to be faulty is very unusual to say the least, as it's a little micro switch.
You say purchased in March 2023. The first thing I would do, is contact the retailer/installer who ever supplied the thermostat, and tell them to sort it out. Assuming you are in the UK.

Hey, thank you so much for your reply and yes I am in the uk. agree, I think someone has been heavy handed. Assuming this is the case, how can I just buy a heat link? I can’t find any for sale.

I wouldn’t think you have broken the switch, but most probably a sticking issue. Have you tried pressing the button at different positions on the button? Ie, try pressing top, bottom, left or right. I have had this problem a few times, and can be easily fixed if that is the case.
Like I stated, the retailer is responsible to fix it anyway.
Ebay would be your best bet, I do have them, but nothing listed on bay at present.
What part of the country are you, as I could have a look at it?
