Heat link is dead

SeanDoc6520

Hi there,

Whilst out today, my heat link has randomly stopped working. I've had it checked over and told it must be faulty. I've held in the button for 30 seconds, but no led at all.

We've had no work done or anything in the house so very confusing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, @SeanDoc6520 .

I am sorry to hear you are facing this behavior from your thermostat.

First, which Google Nest thermostat do you have at the location? If you are not sure you can have a look here to check which one it is: https://bit.ly/3nvBy9l .

If you have not already make sure to check all the breakers and switches at the location to make sure nothing has tripped. If it all looks good try and turn of the power to the Heat Link, if you are comfortable in doing so, for a few minutes and then turn it back on. See if it has any reaction after when you press the button on it.

Hi, my heat link 2nd gen is also dead. Tried to reset and turn on manually, nothing working, no lights. It's dead. All electrical supplies are working, no tripped switch. Nothing has changed in my house. Who do I ring to get it fixed? I'm in Ireland.

Hi Cristian, thanks for your email. I actually was chatting with one of your reps via Facebook msg and they are sending me a replacement Heat Link.

Our 2nd Gen Heat link is dead, an electrician has tested it and tried to hard re-set it but still dead.  There is electrical supply to the Heat link. Now the battery to the thermostat is also drained.
