Thanks for the advice AlexD. We've tried all that you suggest and there is still no green light/dead as a Dodo

Our 2nd Gen Heat link is dead, an electrician has tested it and tried to hard re-set it but still dead. There is electrical supply to the Heat link. Now the battery to the thermostat is also drained.
