Heat link issue

CatalinT

Hello,

I have an issue with the heat link, it stopped working a week ago. I tried the 30 second button press reset, I tried turning the power off but nothing happened.

What can I do?

@CatalinT

Hey there, thanks for reaching out. I'm here to help. Could you tell me when it started happening? Which type of Nest Thermostat do you have (Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd gen/3rd gen, Nest Thermostat E, or Nest Thermostat 2020)? Also, what country are you located in?

Hello,

It's a  Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen.

I've observed two weeks ago that the led from the heat link is off. I tried everything, I've moved the thermostat closer to heat link, I've changed the plug and so on.

I'm from Romania.

Thank you

@CatalinT You did a great job in troubleshooting. Have you tried turning on Manual Mode to verify boiler activation by pressing its button once? Does anything happen?

Yes, I tried, nothing happened 😞

@CatalinT I am sorry that you're having issues with your Heat Link, but we'll find a solution together. Did you also check that the breaker switches are set to on or the fuse board hasn't tripped?

Everything was functional...

Is there a fuse board on the heat link?

I understand. When I mentioned the fuse box, I was referring to the main panel where all the circuits are.

Nope, the fuse box is ok.

In some cases the boiler will have an additional isolation switch which can turn off the power to both the Heat Link and the boiler. Can you try switching that off/on again to see if anything changes? If you don't have an isolation switch for the boiler, turn the fuse board switches (circuit breakers) off and on.

Same situation. After switching the fuse off and on, the heat link is in the same state and the heating system is on.
