Heat link suddenly lost connection to thermostat

Hi my gen 3 thermostat lost connection this morning. Never happened before. Code H71.

I have had this running fine for about 5 months

Followed all the trouble shooting guides a number of times including factory reset and can't connect at all. The manual override works fine.

Currently have the constant yellow light on the heat link. 

Can anyone offer any advice?

You say the yellow light is on the Heat Link, how did you factory reset?

Was the thermostat new or used?

While you are at the H71 screen look at the Tech page, and make a note of the Heat Link, and the 6 digit code. Does that match the code on the Heat Link?

Hi thanks...we can close this thread down now as the fault was unfixable (eventually found the thermostat to be faulty) and a replacement ordered.
