Heat not working

Hi 

 

I switched from GE zone line from GH GL to be the following configuration from recommendations from this community @Patrick_Caezza 

Blue - B to OB

Orange - GL to G

Green - Gh to Y2 (set2nd-speed fan)

Yellow - Y to Y1

White - W to W2/AUX (set as AUX heat)

Black - C to C

Red - R to Rc

The cool is working but  my heat is not working..

Any help is appreciated

If your system starts to blow cool air when your Nest thermostat is in Heat mode (or if it blows warm air when its in Cool mode), change the settings for orientation of your heat pump.

 

Nest Learning Thermostat
  1.  On your thermostat, go to Settings.
  2. Select Equipment.
  3. Select Continue > Continue.
  4. Select Heat Pump.
  5. The Nest Thermostat defaults to an O setting for heat
    pumps. 
    • If the O option is highlighted, select B.
    • If the B option is highlighted, select O.
  6. Test your heating and cooling again to make sure the issue is resolved.

It blows cool when on cool but does not do anything when on heat mode

@Amisin, thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this. Could you share a photo of your previous thermostat's wiring?
