Sorry for the delay but thanks for reaching out. 

I have a few questions to better understand your concern. Where are you getting error 404? Is it on your Nest app or Nest thermostat display? Also, what specific Nest thermostat do you have? Also, could you post a photo of your old thermostat wires as well as your Nest thermostat wires?
