Heat stops 9am / starts 5pm regardless of schedule - manual button works

Hello there - am losing my mind with our heating - and don't know where to turn to for help

Thermostat model: display-3.4  Backplate-6.5 Software 5.9.5-2 updated 16 Nov 2021

Have tried manually updating the software via the thermostat but it says it's up to date

Heatlink: Wireless Amber-2.5 Software 2.1.2-1

No matter what I do, the heating seems to stop at about 9am and starts again at about 5pm.

It follows the temperature schedule when it's actually working but does nothing between 9-5, even if I turn the temperature manually to say 23C or even if I add a dot in the schedule at midday at 23C - it remains off.

However if I go into the garage and press the manual button on the heatlink then it comes on fine.

We have a system (non-combi) boiler and a separate hot water tank which is also heated by the boiler (via the same nest thermostat) - the water heating feature seems to work fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this / how to resolve it?

I can't get hold of the UK Google Pro who came and installed it on 22 Feb 2021 (also assume that it would be out of warranty now? Purchased Dec 2020 from Amazon). Would be happy to pay for someone to come out and look at it if can't resolve it with the help of you good people on the forum.

Many thanks

Martin
