Hello. So first time nest user here, got the nest as a promo from Ameren a month or so ago. Setup went okay, had no issues getting the heat up and running. For kicks i decided to try and test the cooling the day I was setting it up.
I received a "No Power" code or something similar, the a/c shut off after about half a second of attempting to start, and the nest display said "try again in 60 seconds" and started counting down.
I waited 10 minutes to make sure it wasnt a safety switch from switching from heating to cooling - same issue.
Since it was winter and the heat was working fine, i put the problem on the backburner. But cooling season is fast approaching so I wanted to see if anyone recognized/experienced this problem before.

Hello Shums12721,
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd love to know more about this.
Could you please share with us a photo of your thermostat's wiring? What's the message code or wiring report you're getting? Also, please check out its power readouts on your thermostat settings. Go to "Equipment" for the Nest Thermostat 2020 version and "Technical Info" for the Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E.
I'll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Mark
