Hi my nest 2 is lit up but the circle will not click on any topic or change temperature.

We've had this unit for quite some time. And last week we were unable to make any changes or get any clicks by using the nest thermostat controller. It works by using the app, but the physical device only spins around. There were no errors seen on the device or on the web UI. The version we have is Display-2.8.  Please let us know what could be causing this issue?

Thank you for posting in the community.  I understand that you can't click on the display of your Nest thermostat to select some option. I'm happy to help you! 

To move forward regarding your inconvenience, i'd like to ask a few questions: 

• What kind of Nest thermostat do you have?
  • Please take a look at this article: How to tell which Nest thermostat you have - Google Nest Help
• Could you tell us a little bit more about how this happen?
• Is this a brand new device? 
• Have you done any troubleshooting steps so far?
