Home/Away Assist Doesn’t Work

Hi - when I manually switch the Nest to away, the heating just runs as normal. I’ve been away for 4 days and I’ve checked the heating activity and it’s been on for 6 hours a day! I’ve got Eco set to kick in automatically when away. I’ve checked the Home/Away activity history and it shows I manually activated Away mode. Please help.

Thanks for posting here in Community and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Let's sort this out.

Can you make sure that the Home/Away Assist settings is correctly reporting whether you were Home or Away? In the Nest App, go to Settings and then Home Away Assist and then What decides if you’re home.
