I recently purchased the Nest Leaning with a remote sensor. I have setup the remote sensor to be the one controlling the temperature in the 4 blocks to time: Sleep, morning.... when I am at home. However, I want the Thermostat temperature sensor to be the one controlling my ECO temperature when I am away. I have looked in the settings all over and I cannot find a way to setup the application this way. When I am away I see in the iPhone that the remote sensor is the one in use when in ECO mode, I have to manually select the Thermostat sensor. to be the one controlling the cooling. Will anybody knows how to do it?.

Hey Maperilo,
I wanted to follow up and see I could be of any help. I found an article with more details on Home/Away. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Best regards,
Jake

Thanks Jake for replying. Yes I am still having the same problem. It seems to me that Nest will not let us to define which sensor will be use for each of the predefined block times but not the one to use while Away from Home or ECO. It assumes that the sensor is the controlling the 4 blocks of time. I did see earlier this article but doesn't resolve the situation. When I click the Away, there is an option to define if the activity sensor will define if the House is occupied or not but there is no option to define which Sensor (the remote or the Thermostat temperature sensor) will be use to control the temperature. Thanks for your help.
