Hoping someone may have run into this same issue. I recently migrated my Nest account to Google (I have only one Google account) per the instructions. The Nest thermostats (2 of them) work fine using the Nest app, but now I'm trying to add the thermostats to the Google Home app so that my husband can also control them.
When I select to add a new product to Google Home and run through the setup for the thermostat, I get a message saying that the Nest account is linked to a different account and I need to contact the Owner to have them migrate over.
I have no idea how to resolve this. Any suggestions?

If your google home app and nest app are on the same google account, I think you automatically see the nest thermostats in google home. Suggest you review the account information in both apps and validate consistency. Please also ensure you are using the latest version of the google home app.
