Hi RightStuff,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Do you see any messages or codes on your thermostat or in the app? Please share with us the photo of the wires that are connected directly to your HVAC system control board.

Best,

Jenelyn

Hello everyone,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for looking into this, Jenelyn.

@RightStuff, to be sure, it appears that an incorrect wiring configuration happened, the reason why it's in reverse. Could you please also share with us your Nest Thermostat's wiring setup?

I'll look forward to your response.

Best regards,
Mark

I have the old one still in, but the way I hook it up the lines was white to W1, Yellow to Y1, Green to G and Red to Rh.

I did not hook up the jumper. On old was R to Rc.

Hello RightStuff,

Thanks for confirming. One more thing: can you tell us your HVAC system's make and model? Also, is this a Heat Pump?

Keep me posted.

Regards,
Mark

Hey there,

Mark
