Hot water not working

The hot water is only Woking on an advice basis via the schedule (it isn’t coming on to schedule all of the time). Also when we try to push a hot water boost it doesn’t work all of the time. This issue is experienced via the phone ap and via the thermostat itself.

I'm sorry to hear that the hot water only works with the schedule, but it's not working all the time. I know how inconvenient it is since the hot water boost isn't working as well. I'd be happy to help!

To better assist you, please provide the following information:

  • What is the thermostat model you have? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify your thermostat model.
  • When was your thermostat installed?
  • Do you have a system or a combi boiler? Is the control on/off or Opentherm?
  • What is the status of the Heat Link's LED light?
  • When did the issue start?
  • Has there been any recent work done on your thermostat or heating system?
  • Were there any recent power outages?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? If so, please describe what you've done.
  • Does the thermostat call for hot water?
  • Is there a pattern to the hot water activating? Is it happening every day, or at the same time each day?
