Hot water schedule won’t work in the app

I have a baxi system boiler and baxi hot water cylinder connected to my nest learning thermostat. The hot water schedule opens then immediately closes whenever I tap the schedule button in the app, however, it works fine from the base unit, e.g. I can access the schedule and the cylinder heats the water according to the schedule so know it’s not a compatibility issue. Seems like an app problem. 

Can anyone advise why the hot water schedule won’t work in the app?
