Hot Water not Working

When i try to boost the hot water , the boiler does not start up and the water is not heated. But the heating is working fine, when i turn the heating from App the boiler is started. Any help on this?

OK, the UK has the Heat link, that's the reason for asking location. This stupid forum does not show anyones country, and USA for example has a different system.

Anyway, have you tried at the display to boost from there? Forget the app for now, using just the display. You need to make sure the heating is not calling for heat, turn the display down to 9 for example. Now stand by the Heat Link,  and at the display turn the boost on for 30 mins for example. Does the Heat Link click at all? Obviously you might need help to do the boost and someone to listen for the click. Check that to start with.

Yes , i can hear the click, i can hear the click when i boost from App as well.

Also the water is heated when the heating is switched on , i.e. when you boost + switch on the heating

Yes the app is not the issue normally, I just tell people to forget that for testing purposes. The display is direct contact, rather than mess about with another avenue.

The click is good, that should prove the Heat Link contacts are switching.

From what you are saying, the chances are a motorised valves not working. I think you may need a plumber, as to diagnose on here very hard, but could well be the valve.
