Hot water showing orange ON even though it’s not actually on or supposed to be

On our app hot water the orange ON is showing outside schedule. The hot water isn’t actually on either which is strange. On the actual nest device it’s all normal ie showing OFF because it is off.

Hi @Taylorandsadie , thanks for reaching out to us here. I would be happy to try and assist. 

To clarify, the hot water in the Nest app shows as being on, even if it is outside of the schedule and it should not be on but on the thermostat display there is no sign of the hot water being active and the boiler/water tank also does not show any signs of activity, like it would be off, correct?

Please take a screenshot of the hot water schedule, so I can see what the expected behavior is. Also take a picture of the hot water in the Nest app, showing it is active. 

Make sure to also take a picture of what you see on the main thermostat display, with the ambient temperature and set temperature. Do you see any water drop icon at the bottom of the display?
