I have a 1999 gas furnace (Amana GUD090X35B (Air Command 90?)) and a 2011 AC/heat pump (Payne Heat Pump PH13NA03600GABAA).
I realize it may be best (for someone like me) to get a pro to do all the wires to the thermostat etc but can I find out if my system will even support the thermostat before I bring them out? As I understand it, some older systems may not be compatible.
I've used the compatibility checker and that only tells me what I already know, that I have a dual fuel system (wires E, Aux, S1, S2, R, O/B, Y, G, C).
(Slightly related: is it likely that google will release in the next half year a Nest Learning thermostat that supports Matter?)
