My thermostat no longer charges, and I'm tired of being in a 48-degree house. I'm on my way to the hardware store to buy a mechanical thermostat. What's the best way to dispose of this piece of junk?
Thanks.

Hi @alicemthornton,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I understand that your Nest Thermostat is no longer charging, which is making it impossible to use. I know this situation must be challenging, especially since you'd rather purchase a new thermostat and now want to know the best way to dispose of the old one. I appreciate the information you shared. No worries, I'd be more than glad to share more details with you:
