I have tried everything including removing all the wiring just to see how it sits on the base and it still fell off.

Hey Steven 9927.

Having issues with your thermostat not staying connected to the base is not ideal. I am sorry this is the case here and I have escalated this on over to our Team to review. You should be getting an email from me shortly with your case number. To be sure you have that, I have attached that below as well. Please let me know if you have any trouble seeing the email from here.

Hey Kod54man,

Thanks for chiming in.

What specific Nest thermostat do you need help with? Could you try removing and reconnecting the display? Pull it straight off the base and make sure the pin connector is lined up correctly before you push it back onto the base. You should hear a click to confirm it is properly seated.

Best,
