I noticed that the thermostat ignored my programming and changed the temp based on "Peak hours". I don't want my electric company to decide my comfort level. This is a stupid feature that I don't want. The way to get rid of this is to unsubscribe to Nest Renew (which I don't even remember signing up for. I think they trick you by asking you if you want to use clean energy, without telling you the whole story). Anyways, should be easy to unsubscribe, right? WRONG.
I found an article with directions but they are wrong! The article and Google phone help directed me to https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/10956754?hl=en the problem is THERE IS NO CANCEL OPTION next to the "Cancel next to your Nest Renew ID number".
Here are the steps, which don't work.

Yikes! Let me take a look at this for you. Have you checked to be sure the Google Account displayed is the one you used to sign up for Nest Renew for the account you intend to cancel that is visible at the top right corner of the Nest Renew portal? And are you seeing your thermostat on the Nest Renew portal as well?

I have confirmed that I am logged in under the same Google Account. I see the thermostat on the Renew Portal as well. But as noted, no way to cancel or remove. That option does not exist. I want out of this subscriptions please!
