Hi - in a second home, we have our Nest E set to Eco when not there. Bottom Eco temp is 53 degrees. We have found that, when power goes out there, the thermostat reverts to our regular weekday/weekend program after power has been restored. If we forget to check via the Nest app, the thermostat seems to cycle through the regular daily temps (66 day, 62 overnight) rather than stay on Eco at 53, costing us energy and $.
Is there a setting and/or alert function that can either return the Nest to Eco after power restoration or let us know that the thermostat is back on line, so we can manually institute Eco?
