Humidifier connection

I have a nest learning v2.  It replaced a ecobee.   The humidifier was connected on the eco bee and I have wired the nest similarly, however I cannot add the humidifier without pro access.  How can a homeowner access the menu to add the equipment?   There are no pros in my area and this is too simple to have to bring someone in.

I'm sorry for the delay in responding, and we appreciate your message!

For these systems, we highly advise expert installation since improper setup—either from improper software settings or miswiring—can result in strange HVAC behavior and even cause the system to break down. Does your humidifier work with your system as a whole or separately?
