Hi -
The thread was locked so I needed to create a new thread.
I reset the device a couple of days prior to my original post. I'm in a tri-level and the thermostat is installed on the first floor next to the stairs away from any sun. The signal strength is 69, although the EERO access point is less than 6ft away. Last data upload and last cloud comm are both at Aug 11, 2021
Here is the technical info:
Model: Display-2.12
Backplate model: Backplate-2.21
Updated: Sept 24 2019, 3:13 PM
Software: 5.9.4-5

Original question:
I’ve owned the same Nest for several years and also have it attached to a humidifier in winter. It has worked fine up until a couple months ago when it started reporting really high humidity levels. I have several hygrometers and all of them are indicating the Nest is off by at least 25%.
I tried removing the device for 10 seconds and also pushed the device till it reset and it is still reporting over 75% when my other devices report around 45-50%
It sounds to me like the humidistat went bad but any advice is greatly appreciated!!
