Humidity reading

Recently installed Nest learning Tstat. Before I add additional sensors, I’m trying to get all bugs on main unit correct. The humidity has read 100% since install. How long should it take for internal sensor to read correctly? My house has a whole home dehumidifier with separate wall controls that read properly. I just want all to be in synch.

The tstat is working fine but the humidity reading is still 100%. The dehumidifier is not connected since the nest is reading way off.

Hello folks,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for helping, Jake.

@Spartacus79, I'd be happy to take a look into this for you. To isolate:

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  • When was the thermostat installed?
  • Where did you install your thermostat? (in a room and on a wall or stand)
  • Would you mind listing any troubleshooting steps you've done?

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,

Mark
