Has Anybody used their Nest Thermostat with Smart TRV's effectively creating a zoned system?
The online help suggest that it does, as tey work seperately, however I fear th eexplaination might be misleading. Specifically if the room that has the Nest thermostat is at the required temperature, if a different room is colder, will nest allow the colder room to call for heat triggering the Boiler?
Thanks for reaching out. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.
Nest Thermostats are compatible with various radiator valve types, including smart thermostatic radiator valves (Smart TRVs). Your radiator valve controls the pressure, and the Nest thermostat determines whether hot water comes to it.

Hello Mark, not really, my question is around will the Smart TRV call for heat. If thermostat is at 20 degrees and off because the location is 20 degrees, but a smart TRV in s different too is set to 21 degrees and the room is 20 degrees, will the best thermostat send hot water to the valve?
I'm checking in to make sure that you've seen my response. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns before we close this thread in 24 hours.
Thanks for getting back to us and for posting on this thread. We're always looking for ways to improve, and we'd appreciate it if you could send us some feedback. Controlling heat via the smart TRV is not available when connected to the Nest Thermostats.
