Humidity readings incorrect

Todd5439

Eversince I installed this 4th generation nest thermostat the humidity readings are 10 points higher than my 3 independent RH monitors throughout the house. I have restarted the thermostat twice, reset to factory specs, changed the batteries, called customer service and she suggested to block the hole in the wall that the thermostat wire comes through. Nothing works,  anybody got any ideas?

Sorry for the late reply, don't usually use Gmail . My email address I use regularly is # , I got tired of waiting for your reply so earlier in March I requested a replacement thermostat and later that month I sent you back my old one. The humidity readings seem to be more in line with the RH gauge now, thank you.

Hey Todd5439,

Sorry to hear about this and also for the delayed response.

Could you provide the case id of your interaction with our support team? I want to be able to review everything you've done so we could pick up from where you've left off.

Best,

Melba

Gotcha and thanks for keeping us in the loop. I'm glad to hear that the replacement one is working as it should.
