Let me start by saying that my hvac system equipment has been checked multiple times. Most recently on Tuesday this week. It’s not and equipment issue.
My AC and nest will work fine and then suddenly … it stops shooting out cool air and shoots out air just 5 degrees below room temp. Mostly on super hot afternoons. I’ve turned off the AC and let the fan run. Sometimes this works but most times nope. I’ve turned off the auto scheduler, reset my thermostat and router, checked for software updates in both apps (nest and google home) and on the actual thermostat. I’ve had one nest replaced already and now this one is doing the same thing.
some seasonal saving thing turns on which I override but adjusting the temp, I follow the guide to turn this off but there is never an off option. Then my thermostat has a mind of its own. It’s says it’s offline when it is not. It delays itself constantly
I simply wanted a thermostat I could remotely control for when I’m not at home. I did not ask for this think to take over my life as I spend hours trying to get it to work
