I’m getting heating when suppose to be cooling and cool when suppose to be heat

Hi, just installed nest thermostat 1 st gen and now I’m getting the heater when the a/c is suppose to be on and the a/c when heater is suppose to be on. I tried to re wire and reset nest still doing it. Need help. Not sure what to do

Just purchased a Nest gen 3, and it is doing same thing. Have the ac on to warm the house. Moved the W wire to W2 and the heat ran when it was turned on. and moved the Y wire to Y2 spot and Nest was telling me in wrong location. So now going out to outside unit to make sure it is wired in the correct or at least same spots as inside.
