Hello Flhowell33,
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble trying to access your Nest account. Don't worry, it's a pleasure to assist you.
Regarding this situation, I recommend you use a personal account. Google Nest products are designed for personal Google Accounts, not for business or workspace accounts, due to security and compatibility reasons.
To effectively troubleshoot, could you please answer these questions?
What option do you use to sign in to your account: Sign in with Google or Sign in with Nest?
Are you using an Android or iOS device?
What is the mobile app version?
When did you first encounter this issue?
I'll be looking forward to hearing back.
Best regards,
Daniel

@Flhowell33 To add to what Daniel mentioned, if you cannot regain access to the email address it was previously setup with, you'll need to reset the account connection and connect it to a new account.
First check which model of thermostat you have:
How to tell which Nest thermostat you have - Google Nest Help
Important: Before you reset any settings, write down the wiring information so you can easily enter your thermostat's wiring if needed. On your thermostat, go to Settings > Equipment. You might want to do this for other settings, such as system heating type, and safety temperature as well.
Nest Thermostat (2020), Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen)
Setup these models using the Google Home app. The QR code and setup key are physically printed on the back of the thermostat for Nest Thermostat (2020) and will be displayed on screen for Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen).
Nest Thermostat E, Nest Learning Thermostat (1st, 2nd, 3rd gen)
Setup these models using the Nest app. The QR code and setup key are in the settings on the thermostat itself and are not printed on the device.
