I reset my thermostat, now it says configure with home app, but cannot doesn't configure it

Just to check, which model of thermostat do you have? Here's how to check:

If it's suggesting to use the Google Home app, that suggests you have Nest Thermostat (2020) and here are the setup steps you need for that model:
