I was just charged $250 by Nest Labs and have no idea what this is for, can you help me clarify?

I just reviewed by bankaccount and it shows "Nest Labs 855-469-6378". Merchant name NEST and a charge of $250.

I never authorized this charge nor do I know what product this is for.

Calling the number it is disconnected asnd refers me to this page...this sounds very fraudulent, I never received a warning of the upcoming charge, signed up fo ra subscription etc.

Can you help me clarify ASAP please?

The best thing to do here is contact the Google Nest support team directly.

  1. Go to Contact Us - Google Nest Help
  2. Select a category, type a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
  3. Click "Other", then click "Next step" until you see the contact options.
  4. Choose to get a call or call or chat with the team as available in your country.

Thanks that helped, the support team was actually very helpful...problem resolved, but one feedback: Google doers not make it easy to get live support. I understand the reason why but I can only imagine people like my older parents would simply give up to get support...
