Install NEST on Ice Air WSHP

Hi everyone. was wondering if anyone had an idea on how to properly wire the fourth gen nest learning thermostat with temperature sensor. When i remove the thermostat i am faced with about 10 white wires  - underneath i see the traditional colored wires. i feel as tho the white wires provide some sort of "alarm" / "error" coding capability as there is ALA and RST. (from what im reading appears to stand for alarm and reset)

Do i connect these white appearing wires to the nest or do i find a way to disconnect the colored wires from the white wires and just install connect the colored wires.

Hi Sicsacol! Thanks for the interest in assisting me. 

- The system is a WSHP/PTAC unit from the company IceAir. It is the CHPW model. The apartment building i'm in has a "summer" mode and "winter" mode in which it determines what temperature water is pumped through. 

- The only wiring i can actively get to is what i am going to include here.

Based on the pictures, your wiring configuration might not be compatible with your Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen). However, to be completely sure about the compatibility, I recommend having a Nest Pro technician take a look at your system in person. They can provide definitive assistance with compatibility and ensure everything is set up correctly for optimal performance.
