Tonight I switched to Android to see if it worked any better than my first 15 attempts on iPhone. IPhone install died after connected with a SSO 226 error or something like it. Not the same issue on Android. Instead, it goes through the setup, tells me “All Set”then throws a screen that talk about why they want my address. I hit Next and it goes to a white screen that never loads, but has a back error on the lower left side. On Android, I end up with a working thermostat, connected to WiFi but account is not connected. On Android, it says I have WiFi and it’s connected to my account. In both cases, the Nest Thermostat shows in the app but when I click on it I get the “Your thermostat wasn’t fully set up” However, when I click “not now” as its closing I can see it is displaying the set temperature I have it set to.
I have factory reset it ten times, reset it every time and am at a loss to figure out the issue. I tried removing my Google account from both devices, turning off MFA/ 2 factor auth,, and even went so far as to factory reset the Samsung S8+ I am using (rock solid oldie)
I am closer on Android, but am happy to do whatever’s necessary. Please advise.

Hi Captclam,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community and we're sorry to hear about what's happening.
I'd like to check a couple of things for us to further help you. Which Nest Thermostat are you using? Did you enable the Bluetooth on your phone? Have you tried connecting your thermostat on a different Wi-Fi network such as a mobile hotspot?
Let us know how it goes by replying to this thread.
Regards,
Ryan
