Installation- wiring

Hello,

Recently moved to a new home and getting around to setting up my thermostat. Set these up in two other houses with no issues. However, this time there is a new variable. I am unable to get the app to provide a wiring configuration and sends me to get support. I’ve provided a picture of the current configuration and would like to add in the attic there is a aprilaire 8145 ventilator that is wired in. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you'd like to know if your thermostat is compatible with the system included in your new home, since the app is not providing a wiring configuration and is directing you to get support. I'm happy to help.

In order to determine the compatibility of your thermostat with the system in your new home, please let me know the model of your thermostat. If you have a Nest Thermostat, Here’s a helpful article about how to identify your thermostat model.

Additionally, based on the photo of the current wiring of the system in your new home, only Nest Learning Thermostat models are compatible.

Give this wiring a try,

Yellow - Y to Y1

Green - G to G

Blue - C to C

Orange - O/B to OB

White - Aux to W2/AUX (set as aux heat)

Black - E to * (set as emergency heat)

Red - R to Rc
