Installing Google Nest Thermostat 3rd Gen

I would like to install two Google Nest Thermostats to manage a two-zone heating system in my home. I currently have an Argo ARM-4P Control Board and a boiler baseboard heating system. Each zone is controlled by a Honeywell thermostat with two wires: Rh and W1.

Here are the details of my setup and my questions:

  1. Existing Wiring:

    • Each thermostat is connected to the control board using two wires (Rh and W1).
    • The control board has a C terminal available, but I prefer not to use a 24V power connector for simplicity.
  2. Installation Questions:

    • Can I connect the two existing wires (Rh and W1) to the C terminal on the control board to power the Google Nest Thermostats?
    • Alternatively, if I use a Google Nest Power Connector, can I connect two thermostats to the same C terminal on the power connector?
    • Do you have any other recommendations or suggestions for wiring the Google Nest Thermostats in my setup?

I would appreciate detailed guidance on the best way to proceed with the installation while ensuring the thermostats function correctly and safely. Thank you!

After reading up on the Argo ARM-4P Control Board I would suggest following the instructions on page 22 of the attached Installation Manual and Operating Instructions
