Hello, I’m getting the learning thermostat setup. It seems similar to another post…

… but this model has a W1, W2, and *. I just needed to confirm the O and W/E on the following thermostat to the new Nest.

Hello EmersonB, I called support before getting a reply from Patrick. We considered doing his suggestion, but the help line said that we'd have to get a professional on site because we're using a hybrid system. I think it's good to close, but I don't have a confirmation on the solution. Likely I'm going to end up using the system in a different house with a simpler system.

Hi folks,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

@cfedynich, thanks for getting back to us again. Since your system was identified as a hybrid system, it can already be considered a complex system, and you have to contact our Nest Pro technician to better check the compatibility of your thermostat wires with our Nest Thermostats.

Let us know if you have any other questions. We're happy to help.

I appreciate your assistance here, @Patrick_Caezza, Jenelyn, and Emerson.

Regards,

Zoe
