A week or two ago we started getting the e160 error about no power to the y1 wire. Before I had a chance to look at it, the issue self resolved and the AC was running fine. The error has now been going on and off a few times a day since then. No pattern to the time of day and the frequency varies from day to day.
The AC was just serviced in May with no issues. One thing that seems to temporary resolve this issue is unplugging the yellow wire, reconnecting the panel so it's connected to heat only. When I reinsert the yellow wire the power issue is resolved... until the next time it loses power to the yellow wire.
Thoughts? I hate to pay another $200 for the HVAC guy to come back out if it's something with the thermostat.

Hey KRIS10A,
I’m sorry you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. What type of Nest thermostat do you have? When was the last maintenance service and cleaning? Also, What type of system do you have? (Heat Pump or conventional type)
Thanks,
Archie
