My nest thermostat worked fine for over a year until, i suddenly got message that it was disconnected from the internet. I tried to reconnect it but it didn't recognize the password. Then suddenly I got message that the R wires were disconnected. They didn't look like it but I reconnected them anyway. While doing so, I must have pressed the screen too hard and caused a crack.
Now my thermostat is blank. I can feel it warm to the touch but no display. There is a flashing green light at the top of the unit.
Is this unit now unserviceable? Can it be covered by warranty?
