Is Next compatible with a 4 wire system?

ThomasJo
Community Member

I have  a 4 wire system with the Honeywell wire saver connection.   When I use the Google Nest wire checker it tells me its compatible when I enter the wire codes but I have been told the same thing by the people that make "Sensi" and that ended not working with my system.  Can't run the fan on its own (and I need that choice), fan would only run when AC or Heat is activated by system.   My wires are R and RC (with a jumper), W/OB, C,  and K.  See attached pic.  Can someone help?  oldThermostatWiring.jpgHoneywellWiring2.jpgHoneywellWiring.jpg

You will have to replace the WireSaver with the Nest Power Connector. They do the same thing, but each only works with the specified manufactures' thermostat.
