Is there a way to keep the display screen on at all times on the Nest Thermostat?

My thermostat is not communicating with my AC unless it senses me. At that point, it may be 85 degrees in the house, but it will kick the unit on as soon as the screen lights up. Is there a way to keep this screen on as a potential bypass of this? It worked normally for just over a week and then started doing this (this is the second one that I have tried). Thanks!

Hey JackF,

Having your device not work unless it has sensed you sounds like the Home/away feature to me. I would be more than happy to help you out and get the device working properly. There is a chance your device is going off a setting with this feature, and I would recommend double-checking that. I found a helpful article with more details on that, and how to change those settings. Please let me know if that helps.

Best regards,

Jake
