Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I am sorry to hear your Nest Thermostat is set to 54 but keeps heating to 67, but there's no need to worry; I'm happy to help you right now.

To get a better understanding of the situation, please help me out by answering the following questions:

  • What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  • When did the issue first occur?
  • When was the Nest Thermostat installed?
  • What other strange symptoms have you experienced since the problem started?
  • Is there a wiring report or error message on your thermostat and/or app?
  • "What is the make and model of your (HVAC) equipment?"
  • Have you done troubleshooting steps? If so, can you list them?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Regards,

Gabriela

I unplugged the Nest E for a day and then plugged it back in and it works fine. Unfortunately, the Google tech that I spent 1/2 on the phone with never suggested that. Everything he suggested did not work. I have another one coming from Amazon that I ordered before I fixed the current one. Thanks
