Just installed learning thermostat. It has been continually restarting for the past hour.

I have taken it off the wall and put it back on to make sure there was a click. Has a blinking green light which I read says it is updating but i never gave it access to my wifi so I don't know how it could be updating.

Any help is really appreciated. I live in Phoenix and it's summer!

Sorry to hear about your Nest Learning Thermostat and also for the delayed response. 

Could you take it off the base then try charging it first using a USB cable for at least an hour? Also, could you share a clear photo of your original thermostat wires showing the terminal labels as well as a photo of your current Nest Learning Thermostat wires?
