The Leaf symbol has changed a little and wondering why? In the past the symbol was of a normal leaf with a line down the middle but now the symbol shows what appears to be a charging icon/zig zag line down the middle. What does this mean?

HAve you enrolled in a rush reward for your thermostat, savings stuff with your energy company? Have you tried checking the energy history of your thermostat?

No I have not. what does revieing my energy history have to do with the appearance of the icon? I do not understand. Can you simply tell me what this change means or if it has any significance to the performance/operation of the thermostat?

Because this has something to do with your energy history. Do you have a photo of this leaf icon with a thunderbolt in it? The leaf color is yellow?

I do not have permission to upload images to this chat. Suggestions?

Hi there,
@cajunbanker, thanks for reaching out. I saw your post and wanted to chime in.
The leaf with a lightning icon in the middle will appear if your thermostat has adjusted the temperature due to electricity being "dirty" or priced high at that time of the day. I suggest confirming it with your energy company.
@eveluna thanks for your help.
Best,
Jenelyn

Hi everyone,
@cajunbanker I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. We would appreciate it if you could share with us the photo of the Nest leaf icon on your Nest Thermostat display. When you hit the reply you'll see a camera icon to insert photos and if not, you may hit the three dots to view more options. In case it's about the Nest Renew Energy shift, it means that your Nest thermostat will help you to automatically prioritize usage of cleaner or less expensive energy, and tune up your Nest Thermostat schedule to run efficiently in both summer and winter seasons. Hit this link for more information.
I appreciate the help, eveluna and Jenelyn.
Regards,
Emerson
