I just set up my nest thermostat, but now installation is incomplete but the app keeps getting stuck on the location. After I select a location it stops responding. I’ve reset the thermostat, disconnected and reconnected, etc. seems more like an app issue but of course this product does not come with customer support

Hi there,
Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum and for being a step ahead of us. We're aware of the issue. For now, please try to reinstall your Nest app before continuing with the setup. Also, once it stuck again on the location part, just wait for at least more or less 5 minutes on the page where it froze and see if it will go through after the said time.

I’m having same issue swapped 2 diff ones still same thing I believe there’s a fix just have to go thru online or nest website posts. Good luck
