Lost Connection to Nest when purchased new iPhone

I successfully installed and connected my nest thermostat to my previous iPhone. I now have a new iPhone it doesn't  connect to the nest thermostat. How do I connect my new iPhone to the nest thermostat since it is always showing me away and raising my air conditioning temperatures?

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum. I'd love to help.

Accessing your Nest Thermostat on your new phone no longer needs to be added as a new product. Make sure to sign in with the same email address associated with your thermostat so it will appear automatically in the Nest app or in the Google Home app. You can verify what email account was used with the setup if you still have your old phone. If the same account is already logged in, check for other available home structures where it was connected.
