Low battery repeated warnings  even after the unit has been plugged in to an external power source for 24 hrs

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have? For your reference, consult this article: How to tell which Nest thermostat you have.

  • When did the trouble first occur?

  • When did you install the thermostat? 

  • Are all the wires of your thermostat seated firmly in its terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?

  • Do you see an error code on the thermostat?
