Minimum time increment in thermostat history

I have a unit in a wine cellar that is short cycling.  The unit runs for about 10 seconds every few minutes.  When I look at the Nest history it always shows the unit as running for 5 minutes, not the several seconds that I observe.  I am wondering if 5 minutes is the shortest increment reported in Nest history.  I have a technician coming tomorrow  and wanted to show him the usage history.  Thanks for any help.

How do you have the Nest wired?

Does it have a C wire installed?
